Ablation modalities

Heat
RFA: moving electrones, frictional heat,  coagulation necrosis; monopolar/bipolar
MWA: oscillating water bipoles, frictional heat,  coagulation necrosis; 2450/915MHz

Cold
Cryo: freezing and thawing; failed cell metabolism,  crystallization/decrystallization, thrombosis;  argon/N2O
